tea time treats

Madeleines
i'd had a madeleine tray on my 'wish list' since my birthday last summer, unfortunately no one took the hint, so feeling totally inspired by watching Rachel Khoo i ordered myself one. it arrived today & by tea time we were tucking into a delicious plateful! they really were amazing, still warm from the oven, we all declared them to be a success - as you might guess, they didn't last long
mmmmmmm
yum

  4. I have the right pan lurking in the shadows way in back of my cupboard, but you've inspired me to dig it out and make some madeleines. You're so right, perfect with tea!
